My First Blog (kind of)

Word is Born.

I was inspired to finally get this started via a friend's blog.  I mean, I have written a blog or two (or maybe even 3) before (see: MySpace), but have never consistently kept up on them.  I spend much of my time trolling forums, Facebook pages, Twitter Tweets, etc.  I have for sure stalked out numerous blogs over the past 10 years.  (Has it been that long since Myspace only allowed you to have a "Top 8" friends list?)  Crap, I'm getting old-er.  Anyway, what I'm getting at is - I plan on getting this thing started (finally).  I am a wealth of information.  Seriously.  Just ask anyone who knows me.  To quote a friend (who stole the quote from a character Robert De Niro once played), "I know a thing or two, about a thing or two".

I have to keep this short, because I have spent the past 3 hours tweaking my blog page and mama needs to get some rest.  What I need from you, the (hopefully avid?) reader:  tips and/or tricks you have picked up along the way during your blogging careers.  Like, what the heck is a label?  Is it like a tag from Twitter?  Help a sista' out.
